Product Overview
The Portable Engine Emissions Tester uses Ultraviolet Differential Absorption Spectroscopy (UV-DOAS), Non-Dispersive Ultraviolet (NDUV), and Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technologies to measure the volume concentrations of gases such as NO, NO2, and CO2 in engine exhaust in real-time. It is especially suited for emission testing of non-road diesel engines (including marine engines), non-road machinery, heavy-duty diesel vehicles, and engines in real-world operating conditions. The device features a portable design with a built-in power supply, enabling on-site emissions testing, which helps monitor and assess the nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions level and provides valuable emission data.
Key Features
- Simultaneous Multi-Gas Measurement: Based on optical principles, it can simultaneously measure multiple gases without cross-interference, ensuring accurate measurement results.
- No Need for NOx Converter: Direct measurement of NO and NO2, eliminating the need for NOx converters, simplifying the operation process, with a compact design and low maintenance costs.
- Pollution-Resistant Design: Equipped with a multi-stage filtration system to prevent long-term contamination of sensors, extending the instrument's lifespan.
- Powerful Power Support: Built-in high-capacity mobile power supply to ensure the device runs stably for extended periods in the field.
- Bluetooth Printing & Remote Operation: Includes a Bluetooth printer for real-time data printing; also features an app for tablet-based operation, supporting remote data reading and graphical display, ensuring ease of use.
- High Expandability: Additional gas measurement modules (such as CO) and PNPM detection modules (sold separately) can be added as needed.
Applications
- Non-Road Diesel Engine Emissions Testing: Widely used for monitoring the emissions of non-road diesel engines (including marine engines) and non-road machinery to ensure compliance with emission standards.
- Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicle Emissions Testing: Used for testing emissions from heavy-duty diesel vehicles, helping regulatory bodies and businesses monitor emissions levels and enforce environmental regulations.
- Engine R&D and Tuning: Employed during engine development processes for real-time emissions testing, providing scientific data for design optimization and performance adjustments.
- Environmental Monitoring and Remediation: Suitable for environmental monitoring agencies and environmental protection companies to conduct engine emissions testing in various working environments, supporting pollution control efforts.
- Mobile Applications: Due to its portability, the tester is especially ideal for field and on-site testing, making it useful for fleet monitoring, machinery maintenance, and more.
