Process Flow
Natural gas or other feedstocks are desulfurized and mixed with steam before entering a specialized reformer, where they undergo reforming reactions with catalysts to produce a gas mixture of H₂, CO₂, CO, and other components. This reformate gas undergoes heat recovery and shift reactions to further convert into hydrogen. The hydrogen is then purified using pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology, and PSA tail gas is recycled to the reformer for combustion, recovering heat efficiently.
